City Hall Crailsheim, Germany
EU-wide open Competition
The EU-wide open architectural competition for a new City Hall extension for the City of Crailsheim in southern Germany became a study in carefully bridging the aesthetic gap between a typical, post WWII purely functional, yet highly dysfunctional architecture at the time of the competition, and a dynamic and modern building extension in the core center of the small city.
